It can be difficult boasting your strengths in fear it comes off too arrogant. However it’s important for you to understand why I’m the best therapist for you so arrogance aside, let me share with you my amazing qualities.
First off, for those looking for the best therapist in Utah County, you can stop looking. I’m here. I truly am amazing. I have found my calling in life, and it’s helping people literally change their lives through healing. I help individuals of all ages, couples and entire families process the past, heal in the present and thrive in their future.
I teach the basics of the brain which helps people understand the WHY; why they did that, why they thought that, why they feel that way. In understanding this, you can then know HOW to heal, how to move forward, how to respond and how to remain in control of your thoughts, feelings and actions.
With years of personal and professional experience I can confidently say I am an expert in these areas:
- Experience – I am a subject matter expert in human behavior. I have soaked in years and years of individual’s experiences from all of the connections I have synthesized that into understanding the systems behind humans, the brain, trauma, and so much more.
- Trauma – trauma requires compassion and connection. I truly have a knack for helping clients process, heal and move forward after they have experienced trauma.
- Anxiety & Depression – this is a wide spread problem throughout our society. For more details on how I address anxiety and depression, check out this page.
- Communication – I’ll help you see why you’re communicating wrong then teach you how to affectively & correctly communicate with yourself, your spouse, your kids, and your co-workers.
- The Brain – this is so incredibly important to understand, I’ll help you see why.
- Arguing – why we argue, and how to stop.
- How to get what you want – By combining communication skills with our understanding of why we argue, you can then effectively tell people what you want.
- Giving and Receiving Feedback – feedback is essential for growth. Learning how to give and receive it will help us grow, and help strengthen each of your relationships. My technique has been proven to help my clients understand this important skill.
- Validating – one of the basic but MOST important skills I teach.
- Decision Making – life presents many moments where we have to make decisions, big or small. That doesn’t mean we know how to do that though. The way I teach you how to make clear, conscious decisions will benefit every aspect of your life.
- Teens – it can take a certain skill to reach and connect with teens. I’ve worked over 10+ years with adolescents, so I feel confident being able to help teens, see more details about that here.
- College Age – Going to college is a super exciting time in your life, but it also can be a very overwhelming transition. Since I am right next to BYU and UVU I have helped many college aged adults address challenges with addictions, depression, new financial responsibilities, independence, decision making skills, self worth, dating, repentance, the media and more.
- Faith Transition – In this day and age with the surge of information everywhere it has become absolutely overwhelming the amount of individuals (of all ages), couples and families that are experiencing different levels of a faith crisis. Through my own faith transition, I learned and gathered a whole new point of view on religion and faith and have helped many find peace in such a heavy and paralyzing topic.
- Empathy – this is the last on the list, but it is one of the sweetest principle to give and to teach
Some of my other strengths:
- I’m hilarious – no really, I am super fun to be with. I am a likable guy who you’ll find developing a fun relationship with. One where you feel safe to share.
- Technology – I believe in advancing with the times. I have integrated current technology into my sessions to streamline the business and therapeutic lessons.
- Location – I am in a fantastic location in the middle of Utah County! Located right off the freeway on Orem Center Street you’ll be able to access me quickly and effortlessly.
- Connection – the number one thing to have a successful therapeutic experience is connection.
If you are in Utah County (or even outside if you are willing to drive ) I can promise you that you will have a fantastic experience coming to see me. I am not like most therapists (I guess that could be seen as good or bad) but I am here to help. I have literally helped hundreds of people change their lives for the better. If you are wondering if I’m the best therapist for you, come have one session with me. What’s there to lose?
